چکیده

Introduction The outcome of children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) has improved over the last decades. However, the disease course is still not easy to predict, especially based on traditional clinical factors. In the German prospective controlled observational multicentre study ICON-JIA (Inception Cohort Of Newly-diagnosed patients with JIA) patients with diagnosis of JIA <12 months are included for long-term observation to improve the prediction and understanding of JIA outcomes.

PReS-FINAL-2104: Disease course and predictors of outcome in systemic onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis

Introduction Systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (SJIA) is the most common subtype of JIA in Thailand, which represents approximately 33 percents of all JIA patients. The disease course of SJIA and outcome of treatment were varied, depending on multi-factors. In the previous studies, persistent systemic features, younger age at onset, and arthritis of hip are predictors of poor functional ou...

PReS-FINAL-2081: Accelerometer-assessed daily activity in juvenile idiopathic arthritis

Introduction Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) can be associated with decreased physical activity and impaired physical fitness. Within the past decade targeted therapy has led to improved disease control which has opened the possibilities for JIA-children to participate in dynamic sport activities. However, there are limited evidence-based recommendations as to the physical fitness needed to...
